The brief

HBR is seeking to produce a short animated infographic for the article “Building Healthy Habits When You’re Truly Exhausted” written by Author Elizabeth Grace Saunders to be featured on their YouTube channel.

The goal is to make the messages in
the article clearly communicated and also appeal to their primary audience.

visual cues

The video highlights the terrace as at once an amenity and a well-designed experience. Lush planting, open-air circulation, and carefully curated furniture zones create a flexible environment that supports a range of activities: focused work, informal meetings, social gatherings, and hosted events. The space seamlessly balances structure and softness, offering moments of pause while remaining connected to the surrounding urban landscape.

From the 37th floor, panoramic views unfold across Vancouver’s skyline, mountains, and waterfront, reinforcing a sense of perspective and calm. The film captures these transitions—from wide establishing shots of the city to intimate details of materials, textures, and human interaction—emphasizing the rooftop as a place of restoration and connection.

Central to the design is a strong application of biophilic design principles, integrating natural elements to enhance wellbeing, creativity, and productivity. Greenery, natural light, and outdoor air are woven throughout the space, encouraging occupants to step outside traditional office boundaries and engage more fully with their environment.

The final video was crafted to support brand storytelling, marketing, and digital communications, offering M Moser a visual asset that communicates both design excellence and the lived experience of the space. Through a considered blend of architectural framing, lifestyle moments, and atmospheric detail, the film positions The Stack’s rooftop terrace as a benchmark for contemporary workplace design.
